Located at the crossroads of the Gaves Valley and the Val d'Azun, the Idéal campsite is "ideally" placed to allow you to discover all the facets of a Pyrenean massif full of outdoor activities.

We'll invite you to come and discover the nearby contrasting landscapes, which are all as beautiful as each other. Gavarnie and the cirques of Estaubé and Troumouse are pure gems which you can explore as a family.

Very close to the campsite, you can go hiking on the GR10 or horseback riding, paragliding and Nordic skiing on the slopes of Couraduque, get on your road bike towards Soulor and Aubisque to see how you compare to the cyclists of the Tour de France…

Of if you're a fan of skiing, there's downhill skiing and snowshoeing in the Hautacam resort equipped with a mountain sledge or rafting on the Gave de Pau.

Peaceful or sporty, your hikes will take you to Lake Estaing or the Teich dam and beyond into the Val d'Azun... The fittest among you can try the climb to the Balaïtous or the Pic d'Artouste. In the Gaves Valley, Cauterets with the Lac de Gaube, unless you let yourself be tempted by the Néouvielle Reserve and its countless lakes.

Fun is guaranteed at the Chlorofil acrobatic park for children over 4 years old. Monkey bridge, zip line, tarzan jump for older children.

The holidays are also synonymous with curiosity and emotion. In the valley, everything has been planned to delight your little ones. At the Pyrenees park 5 minutes from the campsite they can touch the marmots and get near the wolves, bears and so many other animals.

As for birds of prey, in Beaucens, the Donjon des Aigles offers a high-quality show. A unique opportunity to learn about the art of falconry and to watch eagles and vultures, kites and hawks and other diurnal birds of prey.
